So who are Rosemary and Pork Belly?

Rosemary and Pork Belly were born in an English pub on a wet and windy March day in 2013, out of a desire to share our travel experiences and love of good food.

Meet Rosemary (a.k.a. Clare Martin) an author with a background in radio journalism, travel writing, and short stories.

Travel loves: While perfectly content with a book by the pool or tucked away in a cosy cottage, she’s at her happiest uncovering hidden history and quirky museums. A sucker for the Romans, Richard III, and roguish Regency types.

Then there’s Pork Belly (a.k.a. John Heinrich) a chef-turned-photographer whose work has appeared in travel and consumer magazines, educational books, and this website!

Travel loves: A go-anywhere-at-anytime type, always wanting to know what’s around the next corner. He can’t sit still by a pool, but will happily wait hours for the perfect shot when the light is just right.
