Taking Lewis Carroll’s books for inspiration, the decorations at Looking Glass Cottage are classic Alice.

You’ll find playing cards, keyholes, flamingos, mirrors everywhere and tiny little details to amuse and entertain.

Especially intriguing is the little door under the stairs – you’d need a Drink Me potion to get through it!

‘Oh, Kitty, how nice it would be if we could only get through into Looking-glass House! I’m sure it’s got, oh! such beautiful things in it!’

Tucked away down one of Brighton’s oldest twittens.
The place just bursts with luxury – little touches that make a stay unique.
The bedrooms are soft, silky and sumptuous.
The wallpaper gleams and glistens.
The beds have colourful throws, fluffy white towels and fine linen.

‘Alice began looking about, and noticed that what could be seen from the old room was quite common and uninteresting, but that all the rest was as different as possible.’

It’s truly amazing from the moment you step through the door of this whimsical cottage, but even more fascinating are the little touches you’ll uncover throughout your stay.

Check out those door knobs.
