Win a luxury chocolate advent calendar

Competition closed – thanks for taking part

Never mind the kids, this one’s for you!

I sent Pork Belly out to do some shopping, and he just happened to stumble into the chocolate aisle! Upon discovering that Cadbury’s has brought out an advent calendar this year that’s strictly for the grown-ups, he decided it would make the perfect prize.

So he grabbed a box full, and now we have six luxury chocolate advent calendars to giveaway!

Cadbury Dairy Milk luxury Chocolate Advent Calendars 2023 containing 23 Chocolates and 1 tablet chocolate bar

Did you know advent calendars have their roots in the 19th century, when German Protestants started marking the days leading up to Christmas, with chalk marks on walls or doors?

The tradition grew to include paper versions, with windows revealing a festive scene, fabric pockets containing treats or painted wooden boxes for tiny presents.

The first chocolate advent calendar was produced in 1958, but they didn’t become popular in the UK until Cadbury’s entered the field in 1971.

So, would you like a luxury countdown to Christmas?
